Experts have identified problems with sale of fruits and vegetables. It is not only a low solvent demand of the population, but also poor sales organization. Unfortunately, because of this, many farms are in financial crisis. In addition, the lack of advanced purchasing system, the high cost of transportation, processing and marketing of products has led to an increase of imports. Domestic products become uncompetitive even on the domestic market. According to experts, all these problems have one solution.
"As for agriculture, the Almaty region is characterized by a large number of private farms. Along with the creation of large industrial farms, the most appropriate solution to the problems of underdevelopment wholesale procurement system, small-scale of agricultural industry is cooperation. Agricultural cooperatives play an important role in strengthening of economic potential, competitiveness and the social status of agricultural producers", - said the expert of Ist category of department of development of agriculture Dana Zhambulatova.
There are more than 47 thousand legal persons engaged in agriculture in the region. Today, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs held a seminar-meeting with heads of farms of Almaty region to raise awareness of the law "On agricultural cooperatives", and the creation of cooperatives. "Almaty region is one of the pilot, which created and registered 12 agricultural cooperatives of fruit and vegetable direction. Data was collected with the support of RCE", - added the expert.
Co-operation has also been organized in Aktobe, Zhambyl and North Kazakhstan regions.
