A fair of domestic commodity producers is held at ICBC "Khorgos"
On the territory of ICBC "Khorgos" with the assistance of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, from 23rd of March to 26th will be held the fair of commodity producers of Almaty region. More than 40 entrepreneurs took part in the event. Zhetysu businessmen presented to Chinese tourists and citizens of Kazakhstan meat, dairy, confectionery, flour, honey, drinks, national products. For example, the products of LLP "Syrat" arose a special interest among the visitors. The company is engaged in the production, delivery and sale of an innovative product - biogenic (structured) mineral water, which is very useful for human health. In total, according to the ICBC, the fair on the first day was visited by more than 6,500 tourists. Also, the two million tourist was registered at border control "Khorgos". It was an entrepreneur from the South-Kazakhstan region Saltanat Zhusipova. According to the leadership of Khorgos, the growth in the number of Kazakhstani tourists is due to the fact that Kazakhstan citizens are allowed to enter the zone with identification cards as of 1st of November 2016. Every day ICBC "Khorgos" is visited by an average of 2500-3000 people. According to the forecast in 2017 the number of visitors from the Kazakh side will reach more than 850 thousand people.
