The industry must become a strategic sector for development of Kapshagay
In the city of Kapshagay was held reporting meeting of directors of the branch of the Chamber of entrepreneurs of the town of Kapshagay and Balkhash district to the members of the Regional Council, the district business community. Businessmen were told about the results of the work on protection of the rights, service support, maintenance projects. About 2 thousand businessmen and residents of Kapshagay received counseling in the branch on the opening and doing business, development of a business plan to participate in government programs. In addition, three projects are included in the regional map of development of business: LLP “New Fish” (fish business), LLP "Krintel" (plant for solid waste disposal on the basis of thermo-chemical degradation of hydrocarbon-containing materials), farm "Maksut" (growing of strawberries by the Israeli and Dutch technology). Currently, these projects are negotiating on the issue of funding. Director of Kapshagay branch Batyrbekov Didar said that the city needs a new tourism development concept.
"We need to adopt tourism as a strategic sector of the town economy, create favorable conditions in the provision of services in tourism destinations, in the area of roadside service and social development of hotel business", - he said.
Designated area for gambling in Kapshagay experiences not the best of times. According to Director of RCE Lazzat Chinkisbaeva, one of the solutions to the problem is the introduction of a special visa regime for tourists.
"Russia has organized four zones for gambling. For example, Russia introduced a visa free regime for tourists who want to visit these areas. In addition, in Macao in China where gambling is allowed officially, also introduced visa-free regime with foreign countries. Two-thirds of the population of Macau is somehow related to gambling. Therefore, we also need to discuss this practice", - said the head of the Regional Chamber.
In its report, the director of the Balkhash district branch Borikhan Abdibaev said that support was provided to more than 1,200 entrepreneurs, through which SMEs have received funding. The Center of Agricultural Competence of NCE has conducted seminars for 135 representatives of peasant farms. The subjects were crops and livestock. In addition, the Chamber together with the Department of Education is actively promoting dual education within in Bakanask agro-industrial college.
After the reports of the Directors, the entrepreneurs expressed their views and suggestions to improve the activity of the branch.
