The Day of the entrepreneur was celebrated in the Ili district
The business community summed up the results of work
For the past 9 years in a row on the first Friday in December, the business community of Ili district celebrates the Day of the entrepreneur. Every year on this day, the Association of Entrepreneurs of Ili district (Apiren) summarizes the results of the work, gives an estimate of the business climate of the region, presents awards to partners and businessmen, shares future plans. Last week in the Otegen Batyr village was held a large-scale event, which was dedicated to the Day of the entrepreneur. The date was timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence and the 15th anniversary of the Association of Entrepreneurs. The meeting was held with the participation of deputy akim of Ili district Serikzhan Erekeshev, members of the Regional Council of the Chamber of entrepreneurs, representatives of local executive and state bodies.
"In 2007, a moratorium on inspections of small businesses was announced and many inspection organizations were concerned that it would affect the quality of the work of enterprises. We decided to show that we work not for inspections, but for the quality of service. So we decided to organize a competition of retailers. We have developed conditions of competition, published in the local newspaper, created a commission from among the entrepreneurs themselves. The process of preparing the competition showed the leaders in each district, who worry for the honor of the district. After this event the entrepreneurs raised the initiative to establish a regional holiday - the Day of the entrepreneur and to celebrate it on the first Friday of December ", - said the president of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Ili district (AEID) Zhanna Telpekbaeva.
At the meeting were read out congratulations of the first president of the Association Gani Saduakasova, who noted that in 15 years the Association has achieved its main goal, and today continues to defend actively the rights and interests of business. "The Association has become an organization that unites like-minded people who help each other to study, to exchange experience, new ideas. Owners of small businesses know that they have their own organization", - stated the greeting.
The aim of the Association was to create an information support for entrepreneurs, to clarify the provisions of the existing legislation in a timely manner, to inform about the changes, to carry out studies on entrepreneurship. Today, members of the association represent all the villages and districts, thus covering the whole business community.
"Our first course was named "An inspector came to us". The Forum of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan helped us to organize it, providing us with a selection of materials and giving us the first lecturers. We have conducted this course several times, because, as it turned out, this topic is interesting for all. The process of our training has expanded. Experts and heads of state district services began to teach entrepreneurs. Training seminars were systemic, a single day - last Friday of the month for 15 years. In essence, the seminars have become a dialogue platform, where not only entrepreneurs listen, but also service managers say the comments addressed to entrepreneurs", - said the head of Association Zhanna Telpekbaeva. Over the years the Association assisted in the resolution of many problematic issues, it continues to help to the artistic collectives, disabled child and adult participants of the Great Patriotic War and other categories of people in need of support.
In turn, Deputy Serikzhan Erekeshev noted the important role of association in the consolidation of the business community and wished further success and prosperity in business.
At the meeting, they spoke about the collaboration with the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty region. Members of the Association are part of the Regional Council and the Regional Business Council. The AEID is accredited by the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty region.
At the end of the event AEID expressed gratitude to the local executive and state bodies for their active cooperation and handed letters of gratitude to Akim of district Kydyrkeldy Medeuov, the management of the Office of Entrepreneurship, Department of State Revenue, the Department of Consumer Protection, Akims of 3 settlement and strategic partner - the prosecutor's office. 200 members of the Association Also were also awarded with diplomas.
