A private laboratory opened in the framework of PPP
The Center for High Technology laboratory diagnostics opened on the basis of Karasai district hospital within the frames of public-private partnership with LLP "KDL Olimp". Now residents and patients do not have to wait in queues or travel to another town for tests. The new private center will enable to save time and money, plus it will be convenient to get results.
"The center will ensure smooth implementation of laboratory testing for physicians and their patients, the modern automated equipment allows 3-level control of the quality of research. The main effect of public-private partnership - is provision of high-quality laboratory services to population while reducing budget expenditure, improving diagnosis and treatment of diseases", - said General Director Yerlan Suleimenov.
Clinical diagnostic laboratory network "Olympus" is presented on the medical service market since 2007 and today is a leader among private laboratories in Kazakhstan. Laboratory has branches in 14 regions and 2 cities of national importance. Since 2014 the company is accredited by the International Laboratory Standards ISO quality. Another big plus: in the case of referral of a patient for treatment abroad, the patient can provide the results of the tests without additional confirmations. Today, patients can benefit from more than 2,000 tests. "Olymp" has been cooperating with leading European laboratories like Synlab, Limbach, Centogene and Kurgan "Centre of molecular-genetic examinations", which allows to get access to unique research for our region without the need to go abroad.
Also as part of this project will be to create a centralized medical laboratory with modern laboratory equipment and software, which will be later transferred in trust management of the company. "Olymp" already has a positive experience. Since 2010, it carried out a successful centralization of all outpatient laboratory services in Karaganda.
