Students of colleges were told about the professions which are in demand
At Taldykorgan agrotechnical college was held the annual contest "Bolashak maman - 2016" in order to increase the prestige of technical specialties under the motto "My profession - my pride".
It was attended by students who major in the specialty "Ecology and Environmental Protection", "Accounting and Auditing", "Information Systems", "Veterinary medicine, electronics and telecommunications", "Dairy production", "Bakery, pasta and confectionery products". The competition consisted of 4 stages. During the contest were assessed professional skills, creativity and logical thinking of students. Each participant has designed and presented a model of his future profession. According to the expert of the Chamber Ardak Kachkarovoy, schoolchildren and representatives of enterprises should be involved in such activities.
"Students need to know about the enterprises of the region and the demand in professions, educational institutions, where they can obtain them, about working people, those who have achieved success in their careers. The opinion of a teenager about the future profession changes, and it is necessary to make this process focused and manageable. Then the graduates of our schools will make a conscious choice of profession", - said the expert.
As a result of the competition, the student of the veterinary department became the best among the students of technical specialties. Second and third places were taken by students, majoring in "Accounting and Auditing", "Information Systems".
According to the survey, the enterprises of Almaty region have a large deficit in the following professionals: bricklayers, concrete workers, fitters, crane operators, roofers, slingers, electrics, tractor drivers, electricians and plumbers.
