Entrepreneurs talked about core problems
Businessmen of Alakol district plan to solve the problems of the industry together. To do this, they intend to create an industry association, which will include owners of recreation areas, hotels, cafes and restaurants. These and other issues and proposals were considered and discussed during a meeting of representatives of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office of the region, the local executive body, state bodies with residents and entrepreneurs of the villages of Koktum and Akshi of the Alakol district. These settlements are near the coast of Lake Alakol. During the discussion, businessmen and residents raised questions on regulation of tax relations, garbage disposal and compliance with environmental legislation.
"Entrepreneurs and villagers need to strictly comply with the water code, environmental code. It is important for us to monitor the ecology, to protect the cleanliness of the shores, the nearby territory as a whole. Because, it is the lake that is the main source of income for the local population. In addition, Alakol is a visiting card of our region and the whole country", - said Adlet Sultanbek, the head of the department for the protection of entrepreneurs' rights and the reduction of administrative barriers of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
He also added: "It is necessary to solve the problem with the garbage disposal in the district. To this end, we propose to launch a small enterprise for processing of solid domestic waste, plastic bottles".
It should be noted that the issues of compliance with sanitary and other norms were previously voiced at a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev called on businessmen in the sphere of tourist services to comply with these requirements.
During the meeting in Alakol district, local businessmen raised the issue of installing containers and dry closets on the coast of the lake.
Residents noted the problem of the lack of gas stations. Representatives of the local executive body replied that the akimat would consider options for allocating sites for the construction of the station.
Also, the environmental prosecutor's office announced an anonymous collective appeal on the fact of lack of access to the lake. According to the applicants, some enterprising persons put fences, thereby limiting the right of citizens to general water use. However, during the meetings this fact was not confirmed.
It is the high season in Alakol. The airport was opened in the town of Usharal near the lake to attract tourists. This year the authorities expect that nearly 700 thousand people will visit the place.
